After completing my MBA, I started my career in finance over 25 years ago, working for Hambros Merchant Bank and subsequently the American investment bank Prudential Bache Securities, where I advised institutions on a wide range of financial derivatives and other investment vehicles.

Preferring to work directly with individuals, I joined Royal Life (now Royal & Sun Alliance) as a financial adviser and later ran one of their branches in Hertfordshire for approximately four years. Wanting to focus more on helping clients rather than training and managing advisers, I became an Independent Financial Adviser with Heartlands, specialising in onshore and offshore investment planning, Inheritance Tax mitigation, and film schemes...

In October 2000, I chose to specialise exclusively in investment planning, tax planning, and estate planning by joining St. James’s Place Wealth Management. Until April 2026, I was a Principal Partner running a Practice dedicated to wealth management, with a particular focus on helping clients reduce their Inheritance Tax exposure.

That’s why I take the time to build meaningful, long-term relationships with my clients, offering transparent advice supported by True Potential’s award-winning technology. This ensures you have 24/7 access to your full financial picture, giving you the confidence and control to make informed decisions.

I operate with my support team from premises on the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire borders and I’m happy to meet clients at their homes or at our offices I also work regularly in Central London, providing flexible, in-person support for clients across the region.
