I have been an adviser for forty years and continue to enjoy working with my clients to assist them in meeting their financial goals and helping new ones too. I worked with HSBC for twenty years in their wealth management team advising clients, and subsequently helped to establish a new advisory company in 2010. I joined True Potential in 2024 and have really enjoyed my role as a Wealth Management Partner. Family is important to me and I very much understand how families have had to adapt to changes in the financial world and planning to meet the different needs of the generations as they progress through their investment and retirement journey...
On a personal note I have been very much involved in the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club for over twenty three years and crewed on race nights and I served as the Club's Honorary Treasurer for seven years, helping it to navigate through the difficult years of Covid and service as a successful and active members club. I also initiated an Incorporated Charitable Organisation based in the Club as the RCYC Sailing Trust ( Charity Commission Ref No.1164964). Working with the Trustees, volunteers and other organisations the aim is "to advance young people in life through the provision of facilities and instruction for sailing so as to develop their capabilities that they may growth full maturity as individuals and members of society ". We have enjoyed some fantastic days on the water with children from local schools and other charitable organisations and the feedback is amazing and humbling.
