My first role in financial services was running the enquiries inbox for an international fund manager. I remember receiving a letter from an investor wanting to withdraw her ISA to pay for her daughter’s wedding. Our responses were scripted, so I couldn’t congratulate her and wish them a good day. I knew then that I wanted a more personal relationship with clients and didn’t want my contact with them to be from behind a logo. I completed my Financial Planning Diploma in 2018 with a small firm in Essex, and in 2024 I joined True Potential.
As a financial planner, I'm passionate about guiding clients towards realising their goals and helping them reach them...
We start with a series of meetings where we explore key areas where I can provide support. From there, I'll develop a financial plan designed to align with your goals. We'll review the plan regularly to make sure it remains fit for purpose; taking into account changing personal circumstances and new legislation.
I don't have an "ideal client" but I tend to gravitate towards people for whom personal finance has taken a backseat. Maybe because they've been happy to delegate to a partner, or have been devoted to a creative career.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and playing badminton. I also spend a lot of time (and money) seeing live music - punk, ska, rock and of course Taylor Swift.
